The main campus of the American University of Cyprus is located in the central part of the city of Nicosia, known as one of the most touristic places on the island, in the Surlariçi Arabahmet area. History in Nicosia city is almost combined with modern construction. Throughout the academic year, students can benefit from arts activities on campus, exhibitions, music events and a wide range of social and academic activities. Many of these are carried out in the Arabahmet Cultural House, the cultural center of AUC. The traditional Spring Festival, in which the social events of the year peak, is in May.
