Binyaminu Usman College of Agriculture, Hadejia was established in 1992 as one of the Campuses (Colleges) of the State Polytechnic. The College was temporarily sited at Famfo Goma in Hadejia town in 1992 and in 1995 the College was moved to its permanent site at Yamidi Village about eight (8) kilometers from Hadejia off Kafin Hausa road. The College was established with greater emphasis on professional courses designed to produce Agricultural Extension workers capable of applying modern techniques in direct agricultural production. The graduates of the College depending on their areas of specialization should be able to assist in managing arable crops, forest plantations, livestock production and management as well as extension services. The College became autonomous in 2007 as an independent Monotechnic under LAW NO.II of 2007.
