Catholic University of the Maule (UCM) is located in Talca, Maule, Chile. It is locally known as Universidad Catolica del Maule. The university was established in 1991. It is accredited by Consejo Superior de Educación, Chile.The Catholic University of Maule is an institution with full autonomy, understood as the right to decide for itself, in accordance with its Statutes and Regulations, everything concerning the fulfillment of its objectives. Among the main achievements, the following stand out: the effort of the university community to create a space in the Maule Region for the training of professionals, imbued with an authentic Christian spirit at the service of society; the community of masters and disciples that has been developing through dialogue; concern for regional culture and its development; and responsibility and efficiency in the administration of human and material resources.
