Catholic University of the North (UCN) is located in Antofagasta, Chile. It is locally known as Universidad Catolica del Norte. The university was established in 1956. It is accredited by Consejo Superior de Educación, Chile. The Universidad Católica del Norte, inspired by the principles of Christian Humanism, creates and disseminates knowledge through teaching, research and connection with the environment, contributing to the integral formation of the person, the preservation of cultural heritage and the sustainable development of society from the North of Chile.
