St Clements University - Somalia has been established to offer a wide range of university courses to the people of Somalia in a semi-campus environment. Places are available to non-Somalian residents via distance learning. The Transitional Federal Government of Somalia has accredited St Clements University as a higher education institute to grant bachelor, master and doctorate degrees in the Federal Republic of Somalia. The United Nations, European Union and African Union recognise the Transitional Federal Government of Somalia as the lawful government of Somalia.
