Križevci College of Agriculture (KCA) is an independent public higher education institution which continues tradition of the former Royal Agriculture and Forestry College that was established in 1860 in Križevci as the first agriculture and forestry college in the South East Europe. The present-day college delivers full-time and part-time HE study courses in accordance with the Bologna process. The courses have professional programme orientation and are structured according to a two-cycle education system. The principle of 60 : 40 in favour of exercises and practical training is respected. Another important aspect of education is development of practical skills and competences and a commitment to quality assurance.
