Faculdade de Belém – FABEL is a private Higher Education Institution (HEI), founded on March 1, 2002, authorized by MEC by Ordinance n. 675, of March 17, 2004 (published in the DOU of March 18, 2004), with activities starting on April 5, 2005. Maintained by UNEMPE – União Empresarial Educacional Ltda., FABEL provides educational services with educational and cultural purposes by offering bachelor's courses in Business Administration and Law at the unit: A venida José Malcher, nº 1332 – Nazaré. Between March 14th and Generalissimo Deodoro. In accordance with the provisions of Law 10,861/2004, which discusses the National System of Higher Education Assessment - SINAES, all the Institution's courses obtained grade 4 in their assessments, thus configuring a very favorable scenario for the provision of current and future courses and the opening of new fronts of academic action to consolidate its practices, reaching a higher level of excellence than it already achieves today. For the next five years, continuity will be given to the good results achieved, seeking continuous improvement, driving improvement in the training, qualification and employability of our academics and graduates. The institution will continue to fulfill the socio-educational role of building bases for the socio-economic development of the region where it operates, based on the production of new knowledge in its courses and in extension and research projects, which excel in the balance between practice and theory. In this way, the institution improves and consolidates the quality of the professionals it makes available to the job market, in line with its institutional philosophy: opening spaces for professional practices as part of the learning process – this is its differential – and the responsibility to find the most adequate knowledge strategy to accomplish them.
