The Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Bahia (IF Baiano) was created in 2008 and is an institution of secondary and higher education, focused on Vocational and Technological Education. Its proposal is to bring alternatives to the demands of the community, through teaching, research and extension, articulating with the world of work. Thus, graduates of Elementary, Secondary or Higher Education have the possibility to study at the Institute through technical courses – Integrated, Subsequent (in-class and Distance Learning), Proeja – undergraduate and graduate courses or even take training courses offered through Programs of Extension.
