The mission of the university, established according to art. 117 of the National Education Law, is to generate and transfer knowledge to society through: initial and continuous training at university level, for the purpose of personal development, professional insertion of the individual and satisfying the need for competence of the social-economic environment; research, development and innovation, through individual and collective creation, as well as capitalizing on their results.
