Green Hope University is a privately owned university with linkages within and outside the country and it is accredited and recognized by the ministry of education, culture and higher education .The university was established in 2006 based on the community needs for higher education with high quality and is currently partnership with Kesmonds International University (KIU) in Cameron and Nile University in Uganda. It is recognized World-Wide including all the programs it is offering to the General Public. GHU MOTTO: Our motto is “Re-building Somalia through Education with Islamic value.” Green Hope University was officially opened on 9th February. 2006. Now GHU has two campuses in Mogadishu and Three regional branches which are bardere and El-wak. Baladweyne GHU is now among the top ten local universities and is popular in Somalia.
