The Higher Institute of Applied Medical Sciences (HIAMS) has evolved and expanded successfully since 2005, into a leading professional HND, BNS, BMLS and BTECH Private Higher Educational Institution in Cameroon, with current plans to include HIAEBS. Over the last 14 years, we have developed, and delivered world class curricula with grants from British Council, faculty from University of East Anglia, University of Buea and support from University of Texas Medical Branch. We have consistently produced the best graduates in Nursing, Medical Laboratory Sciences and Ultrasonography in Cameroon. Some of our graduates enjoy well paid jobs in Cameroon, while others are pursuing their careers or education at home and abroad (in Nigeria, South Africa, Canada, USA and UK). We have acquired new land and currently constructing a state-of-the art facility that will accommodate over 2000 students. We also have an online platform that can deliver our programmes to students in their workplaces or communities. We call on all our stakeholders to grab the future with both hands, for our steep ascend into the world of excellence and opportunities for our staff and students, while transforming HIAMS and HIAEBS into a full house University Institutes of Applied Studies before 2025.
