“The Higher College of Communications” was founded on the basis of the Minsk Branch of Sant-Peterburg technical university of telecommunications, the Minsk and Vitebsk electrotechnical secondary schools of communications, and the Republican Center of training, retraining and raising the of professional skill of workers in the field of telecommunications. HSCC is a higher education establishment of the Ministry of Communications and Information of the Republic of Belarus. The college carries out training of Specialists of secondary specialized and higher education. Entrants’ availability of secondary specialized education in corresponding speciality is a compulsory condition for entering the college and receiving higher education a shot-term basis. College laboratories have been provided with modern telecommunications equipment of leading firms (Siemens, ZTE, Cisco, Ericson, etc.). Technical facilities of enterprises of the Ministry of Communications and Information are also used for training of students.
