Our name is Hogeschool PXL . It is an expletive, a strong brand that evokes a young and dynamic atmosphere. It is also an abstract name that can have multiple meanings. Just like with a work of art, you can give your own meanings to PXL. But the outside world wants clarity, and we provide that with PXL = Professionals & Excellence . PXL University of Applied Sciences wants to deliver real professionals who meet the X-factor . The X of the X-factor is central to our name. Hogeschool PXL wants to be an open university of applied sciences: a place where different people live together and learn from each other in a climate of mutual respect.
