Jazeera University is nonprofit, private institution established in Mogadishu, Somalia, in February 2010 by a group of Somali scholars to fill in the existing vacuum in the higher education system in Somalia with a vision of recruiting and developing the most promising students in the country, and providing a high quality education, research and community Services with the commitment of excellence, integrity, and professionalism. Jazeera University is a member of international association Universities (IAU), Arab Association Universities (AArU), African Association Universities (AAU) and International Union of Universities (IUU), besides other local Associations. Jazeera University always tries of find a way that can lead to make developing learning outcomes through using ways and strategies that are based on quality control and efficient ways of teaching in all its faculties, sections and administrative paths, So that JU was the first of it’s kind in Somalia. The whole aim is to become leading university not only in Somalia but whole east Africa. In this way Jazeera University chose information technology as a tool in all its educational methods to success that aim.
