The Maimonides University was founded on June 20, 1990 by the Felipe Fiorellino Scientific Foundation, created in turn on June 18, 1981. Its operation was authorized by the Ministry of Education of the Argentine Nation through Resolution No. 1097/90 , subsequently obtaining its definitive recognition by CONEAU Resolution No. 96/02 and Decree No. 823 of the National Executive Power of May 15, 2002. Its mission is to train professionals with critical and creative thinking, to respond to the advances, challenges and demands of society. It is based on three pillars: Education, Scientific and Technological Research, and Actions with the Community, which form the basis of its 27 undergraduate courses, 26 postgraduate courses and four research centers -with more than 60 researchers-, thus completing an academic and action universe in everything related to health sciences, humanities, social and business sciences; in a great link with different public and private actors of society.
