The creation of the UNM was approved by Law No. 26,575 of the National Congress, sanctioned on December 2, 2009 and promulgated by the National Executive Power on the 29th of the same month (Published in the Official Gazette No. 31,812 of December 31, 2009). Its first academic cycle began in 2011, the year in which it received the first students for an initial proposal for six undergraduate courses and a bachelor's degree cycle. The organization and start-up process concluded on June 13, 2013 , after three years of initiation, with the assumption of the authorities elected by the First University Assembly , on May 31, 2013. In this way, the UNM It was fully formed under the regime of autonomous co-government and autarchy that distinguishes the Argentine university system. Currently, the University is undergoing its third University Government and has almost 20,000 students enrolled . Its academic offer, constantly expanding, includes ten undergraduate courses, two undergraduate courses and four university technical courses. It also has the offer of two Postgraduate careers, and two Training Courses developed in Diplomas.
