The National University of Río Negro is a public and free higher education institution that responds to the demands of the population of a vast provincial territory of more than 200 thousand km2, in the northern Patagonia of Argentina. It was created in 2008 with the aim of consolidating itself as a dynamic and enterprising university, with the aim of facilitating the professionalization of young people in the region; promote culture and actively participate in the establishment of a fairer economic system. Currently, the UNRN hosts approximately 10,000 students in its 66 careers who will lead in the near future the destiny of the economy, society and regional and national culture.
