Oduduwa University was licensed by Federal Government of Nigeria to operate as a private University on 3rd November, 2009. The University was named after the progenitor of the Yoruba race (Oduduwa). The University is located at Ipetumodu, a town in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State. It is just 6 kilometres away from Ile Ife. The University which occupies about 100 hectares of land, is stategically located on Ife – Ibadan express road, and it can be accessed from al the nearby States of Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Edo and Lagos. The philosophy of the University is the technological growth and development of man in the society with a view to becoming self-reliant so that individuals can contribute to the advancement of the nation in particular and the world in general.
