Playa Ancha University of Educational Sciences (UPLA) is located in Valparaíso, Chile. It is locally known as Universidad de Playa Ancha de Ciencias de la Educacion. The university was established in 1947. It is accredited by Consejo Superior de Educación, Chile. The university seeks to train professionals with an ethical, humanistic, analytical, critical and creative profile, who can contribute to economic, cultural, social, regional and national development.
