The Federal Government of Nigeria granted an operating licence to the Redeemer's University on Friday 7th January, 2005. The Redeemer’s University Alumni Association maintains and enhances a highly engaged, vibrant community of alumni and friends worldwide. The RUAA, with offices in Redeemer’s University, Ede, is the official association of all alumni of Redeemer’s University. Its regular members include recipients of all degrees granted by the University, as well as the members of all University Faculties. It has always been the desire of the Redeemed Christian Church of God to make input into university education in Nigeria, having been convinced of the great role university education can play in the social and technological development of a nation.
