Tripoli
The Higher Institute of Compute Technology sometimes abbreviated as HICT is a government sponsored leading institute of higher education in Tripoli, Libya. Founded in 1990. The Higher Institute of Computer Technology began with an emphasis on the computer science, engineering, networking and automated control . HICT has been ranked among the top three higher education institutions in Libya, The Institute has been named lately as The Vocational Higher Center for Computer Technology and most recently Tripoli College of Computer Technology. The names are translated from Arabic and the cause for renaming is the reformation of its sponsor ministry, it was sponsored by the ministry of education and science, after that the ministry of work force and training and most recently the ministry of higher education and scientific research.
