The Pedagogical and Technological University of Colombia, UPTC, is an autonomous university entity, national, state and public, democratic, of a special regime, linked to the Ministry of National Education in relation to policies and planning of the educational sector, with branch offices in Duitama, Sogamoso and Chiquinquirá, and domiciled in Tunja. UPTC, through its work in teaching, research and extension at the different levels of training (undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing education), and the plurality of existing knowledge, is articulated with the dynamics of the productive sector, the national government, territorial entities, and civil society, committed - within the framework of participatory democracy and peacebuilding - to the search for inclusive and sustainable human development.
