Universidad Torcuato Di Tella is a non-profit institution, founded in 1991, with the purpose of contributing substantially to academic life and education in Argentina. Today, the University is engaged in basic and applied research in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in the arts and sciences. The University is built from the development of a high-quality research environment that contributes to the advancement of knowledge, based on the basic premises of pluralism, open discussion of ideas and academic quality. This area is a source of contributions both to theory and to the analysis of national and regional public policy and private strategies. The quality of a country's institutions largely determines its political, economic and social functioning. The objective of the Torcuato Di Tella University is to train the new generations of business, academic, political and social leaders who will be actors and responsible for the future performance of the institutions.
