University of Antofagasta (UA) is located in Antofagasta, Chile. It is locally known as Universidad de Antofagasta. The university was established in 1981. It is accredited by Consejo Superior de Educación, Chile. We are a state, secular and pluralist institution from the north of Chile that contributes to the comprehensive training of people; with a strong social commitment to human development, social mobility, recognition and integration of the original peoples existing in their territory of influence and respect for the environment, contributing to the improvement of the quality of life of people, society and culture, through the development of the various areas of knowledge, generating research, technological innovation and linking with the regional, national and international environment.
