The University of Dongola, is a public university located in Dongola Sudan. UofD has a standing relationship and has conducted conferences with Horseed International University, based in Mogadishu, Somalia. The university of Dongola was founded upon the republican decree No.(67) for the year 1994 beginning with the three colleges of Waldi Elneel and which geographically located in the northern State its present bounders. There are the college of science and Agriculture Elsilaim the college of archeology and heritage\ Kareema, and the college of Mining and Geology.
