Kigali
University of Kigali is one of the leading private higher institutions of learning in Rwanda. It is a fully Accredited Chartered University by the Government of the Republic of Rwanda. It started its operations in October, 2013 upon receiving a definitive license to operate as a private University. University of Kigali’s main campus is located in Kacyiru, next to Kigali Heights, about 3 Kms from Kigali City Centre. Due to its rapid expansion and in order to take services to the local populace, UoK opened a new campus in Musanze District, Northern Province in 2015, housed in the Prestigious RSSB Building. The University has seven schools namely; The School of Business and Management, the School of Finance and Accounting, the School of IT and Accounting, School of Education, School of Communication and Journalism, School of Law, School of Education and School of Professional and Executive Programmes. The University has three Centers, Center for Economic Governance and Leadership (CEGL), the Euro-African Center for Study of Law and Markets Regulations and the Center for Modern Languages (CML). The University of Kigali has also two Academies, IBM Academy and CISCO Academy that trains IT Professionals.
