The University of N’Djamena was established by government decree in 1971 and aims at providing high level university education and research to foster the development of the country. The university serves 6,000 students. It is a full member of the International Association Universities. The university is composed of seven faculties, including the Faculty of Economics and Management (Faculté des Sciences Economiques et de Gestion - FASEG).
