University of Tarapacá (UTA) is located in Arica, Tarapacá, Chile. It is locally known as Universidad de Tarapacá. The university was established in 1981. It is accredited by Consejo Superior de Educación, Chile. It is a derivative university part of the Chilean Traditional Universities. The university publishes Revista Chungará a journal on anthropology and archaeology.
