Viña del Mar University (UVM) is located in Viña del Mar, Valparaíso, Chile. It is locally known as Universidad de Viña del Mar. The university was established in 1988. It is accredited by Consejo Superior de Educación, Chile. Today the Viña del Mar University (UVM) is an institution that is characterized by its regional roots and international stamp. It has more than 9,000 students belonging to the Schools of Communications, Health Sciences, Engineering and Business, Agricultural and Veterinary Sciences, Architecture and Design, Education and Legal and Social Sciences, which are located in the Rodelillo, Recreation and Miraflores.
